I am a New York City-based, documentary film and television editor. Documentaries I edited recently include the features Surviving Amina and Off and Running, which screened at Silverdocs (WGA Screenplay Award), Outfest (Jury Prize for Outstanding Documentary), and the Tribeca Film Festival. It appeared on PBS's P.O.V. in 2010. I have also edited for NBC's The Today Show, The Science Channel's Exploring Time and other works for the Discovery Channel, HBO, HGTV, and NYC-TV.
I was the Editor and Producer of Song of Hannah, distributed by The National Center for Jewish Film and Avoda Arts. I edited the award-winning short comedy His Name is Cosmo, which ran in festivals around the world and won three audience awards for Best Short. Other editing work includes social issue documentaries for a variety of non-profits including V.O.W. (Voices of Women of Color with HIV/AIDS), Passionists of Harlem, American Jewish World Service and New York City Women's HIV Collaborative.
